National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an ‘Institute of National Importance’. It is an autonomous body set up under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. The Institute is conceived to provide leadership in pharmaceutical sciences and related areas not only within the country, but also to the countries in South East Asia, South Asia and Africa. NIPER is a member of Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities.
Following temporary contractual positions are available at NIPER, SAS Nagar:
Post: Project Assistant (CIL)
No. of Posts: 03
Remuneration: Rs. 15000
Qualification & Experience: M.Sc. Organic Chemistry/M.Pharm. (Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Medicinal Chemistry with one year experience in handling sophisticated analytical instruments like NMR, Mass Spectometer and DVS etc. or B. Pharm with 02 years experience in handling sophisticated analytical instruments like NMR, Mass Spectrometer etc.
Age Limit: 40 Years (May be relaxed depending upon suitability of qualification & experience. Relaxation for SC/ST/PH/OBC candidates as per Gol rules). Higher start may be considered for deserving persons.
Retired persons can also be considered. The positions are purely temporary against a project initially for a period of one year. These are contractual in nature and does not provide right to permanency or regularization against any regular vacancy or otherwise. Knowledge of computer is essential.
Walk in interview will be held on 27/8/2013 at 10.00 am in the Conference Room of the Convention centre, NIPER SAS Nagar. Candidate should bring application giving details of educational qualification and experience and photocopies of all testimonials along with originals. Application should be accompanied by a fee of Rs. 100/- (Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PH) in the shape of demand draft in favour of Director, NIPER payable at Mohali/Chandigarh. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-interview. CANVASSING IN ANY FORM WILL BE TREATED AS DISQUALIFICATION FOR THE POST.
