AGE LIMIT / RELAXATION / CONCESSION:
* Maximum Age limit is 28 years as on 01.08.2012. Reservation / concessions for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen & PWD categories would be made as per Government Directives.
* The age limit is relaxable to candidates with relevant post qualification experience, to a maximum extent of 7 years. Relaxation in age would be one year for every completed year of relevant post qualification experience over and above 28 years.
* Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in respect of SC/ST candidates and 3 years in respect of OBC candidates for the reserved posts. Candidates belonging to OBC Category are required to produce recently obtained Community Certificate in proof of their Community at the time of Interview (not older than 6 months as on 01.08.2012), stating that they do not come under the creamy layer, from a Competent Authority, in the prescribed format and Candidates belonging to the SC/ST Category are also required to produce their Community Certificate in proof of their Community at the time of Interview in the prescribed format. Candidates belonging to PWD category are required to produce the certificate in support of their claim at the time of interview.
* For candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period of 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989, upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years.
EMOLUMENTS:
* During the training period, trainees will be paid the following Emoluments per month as admissible to them.

Scale: B-4, Stipend: Rs.13324/-, Accommodation Allowance* (Rs): Rs.2475/-
ABSORPTION / LEVEL OF INDUCTION:
The selected candidates will be on training for a period of one year. On successful completion of the aforesaid training, the trainees will be absorbed in the regular scales as mentioned below:

HEALTH:
Applicants should be of sound health and should meet the medical standards prescribed by the Company. Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to receipt of satisfactory medical report from the Company’s Doctor as per the Medical Standards of the Company and satisfactory medical report from the Concerned Authority in respect of PWD candidates.
APPLICATION FEE:
* Rs.100/-, which is non-refundable (exempted in case of SC / ST / PWD category).
* The above Application fee is to be deposited to the ‘HAL HOSPITAL’ bearing account number 10918220668 at any core banking branches of State Bank of India only in the prescribed Challan and a Journal number be obtained. Journal number given by the Bank on payment of fees needs to be entered in the ONLINE application form while applying. No other form of payment is accepted. Prescribed Challan format is available under downloads in the ONLINE Registration form.
* Candidates are required to pay Bank commission of Rs.25/- for depositing fee at other than SBI, HAL BRANCH, BANGALORE.
* Candidates are required to provide the details of Application Fees paid in the ONLINE application form. If details are not provided, the application will be treated as incomplete and will not be accepted. Application fee can be deposited till the last date of submission of ONLINE application i.e., 22.08.2012. Candidates are required to write their particulars in the Challan wherever asked.
* Application fee once deposited into company’s account will not be refunded under any circumstances, even if the candidate is unable to forward the application details or due to being ineligible at the time of applying or rejection of application etc. Therefore before depositing the application fee, candidates are required to ensure that they meet all the eligibility criteria.
* Candidates should forward counterfoil of the Challan (HAL Copy) along with the printed Registration / Acknowledgement form. Photo copy / Xerox copy of the Challan will not be accepted. In such case, the candidature will be rejected and the application fee will not be refunded.
* The candidate should retain original counterfoil of the Challan (Candidate Copy) for future reference.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Eligible candidates short-listed based on the initial screening only will be called for Written Test. Candidates qualified in the written test will only be called for Personal Interview. Date, Time and Venue of the Written Test/ Interview will be intimated to the short-listed/eligible candidates by E-mail / HAL Website. Candidates short listed for Written test / Interview are required to bring the certificates / documents (Original and attested Photocopies) in proof of Age, Qualification, Experience, Training, Caste, Disability (As applicable), Ex-Servicemen discharge book, Employment Exchange Registration card etc and passport size photographs at the time of Test/Interview.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
* Only Indian Nationals need to apply.
* HAL reserve the right to increase / decrease the specification depending upon the response. Mere submission of application will not entail right for claiming employment.
* HAL reserves the right to cancel the advertisement and / or the selection process there under.
* Applicants serving in Government/Public Sector, Semi-Government Organizations should apply through proper channel/produce “No Objection Certificate” at the time of Written Test / Interview.
* CGPA, FCPI etc wherever applicable should compulsorily be converted into percentage of marks as per the University / Institution norms.
* Candidate must indicate the aggregate marks (of all semesters / years put together) obtained in PUC/ Diploma/Degree etc., in the application form. Aggregate marks are to be calculated as shown below:

* Canvassing in any form or bringing outside influence will be a disqualification.
* Appointment of selected candidates is subject to receipt of satisfactory Medical Report from the Company’s Doctor as per the standards prescribed by HAL (Concerned authority in respect of PWD candidates) and verification of Caste, Character and Antecedents from the concerned Authorities as per the rules of the company and Vigilance Clearance (As applicable).
* Decision of HAL Management regarding selection will be final. Further, HAL Management reserves the right to fill up or otherwise any or all the notified post and also to fill up the future vacancies if any from the valid panel of selected candidates as per the rules of the company.
* The vacancies identified are to be filled up by external candidates only through Direct Recruitment. Therefore, applications of internal candidates, if any, will not be considered against any of the posts.
* Candidates belonging to OBC category are required to submit the OBC certificate in the prescribed format enclosed at Appendix-A and candidates belonging to SC/ST category are required to submit the SC/ST certificate in the prescribed format enclosed at Appendix-B. * Candidates who have work experience in the Private Sector should submit the experience certificate in the letter head of the company. The letter head of the company should have the details of company Registration Number.

HOW TO APPLY
Applications should be submitted strictly ‘ONLINE’ only by logging on HAL Website www.hal-india.com.
Applications will not be accepted in any other mode. The website will be kept open between 1100 hours on 08.08.2012 till 2400 hours on 22.08.2012 for this purpose. Candidates are allowed to apply only once and Application once submitted cannot be altered under any circumstances. Candidates are required to possess a valid E-mail ID, which is to be entered in the Application Blank, so that intimation regarding Written Test / Interview can be sent. HAL will not be responsible for bouncing of E-mail sent to the candidate. Candidates other than SC/ST and PWD are required to furnish the details of application fees payment in order to register their application online. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC who may like to apply against UR Post, may do so, by indicating the category as UR-SC, UR-ST, UR-OBC in the application format, if they meet the requirement as UR candidate.
On submission and acceptance of application, system will generate the Registration / Acknowledgement form along with the Application reference number allotted, which will be used for future references. The candidate is required to take print out of the Acknowledgement form in A4 size paper only and attach the HAL Challan copy for having paid the prescribed application fees (all requisite information should be furnished in the Challan) and forward the same to the following address as mentioned below, subscribing on the envelop, in bold, the post applied for, discipline and advertisement No. so as to reach latest by 27.08.2012. If the application form is not enclosed with the original Challan, the application will be rejected and no communication will be sent to the candidates.
