Pt. B.D.Sharma, PGIMS, Rohtak is situated at a distance of about 240 km from Chandigarh and about 70 km from Delhi on Delhi-Hissar-Sirsa-Fazilka National Highway (NH-10). It is the only major Institution for Medical Education and Research and a tertiary care centre for provision of specialized health care services not only to the people of the State of Haryana, but also to those from Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi and western U.P. The Institute was started under the name of Medical College, Rohtak in the year 1960. For the first three years, the students were admitted to Medical College, Patiala which acted as a host Institution.
Applications are invited on plain paper for the post of Technical Associate under Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI) in Department of pharmacology.

• Essential qualification :
MBBS/BDS/M.Pharm/ Pharm. D or candidate with any other suitable qualification having experience in Pharmacovigilance programme of India. (Candidate with proficiency in computer application will be preferred).
• Age limit : 25-45yrs
• Place of work : Department of Pharmacology, PGIMS, Rohtak
• Emolument : Rs. 20,000/- per month (consolidated)
• Job Description:
* Collection of ADR’s report.
* Follow up with the complaint to check completeness as per SOP’s.
* Data entry in Vigiflow.
* Reporting to the National Coordination Centre (NCC) through Vigiflow with the source data attached with each.
* Training/ sensitization/ feedback to physicians through newsletter circulated by the NCC.
* Other activities as assigned from time to time by the competent authority.
