National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health (NIRRH), formerly known as Institute for Research in Reproduction is a premier research institute of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). It is situated in the vicinity of a number of hospitals and research institutes in central Mumbai. Since its inception in 1970, it has been making vigorous efforts to improve the reproductive health of people through research, education and health care services. The Institute is affiliated to the University of Mumbai which awards degrees to the M.Sc. and Ph.D students in the areas of Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry and Applied Biology. The Institute is one of the few centers in India, which can boast of a team of basic, clinical and operational research scientists and state-of-art laboratories equipped with modern facilities to carry out research on various components of reproductive health.

Applications are invited through Walk-in-Interview on 14-08-2012 between 10:00 hrs and 12:00 hrs. for the following Non-Institutional post purely on temporary basis for the period one year only for ad-hoc project entitled: “ National Chair, Clinical Pharmacology, Indian Council of Medical Research, in the campus of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital”, Parel, Mumbai

Salary: Rs.18000/-p.m. + 30% HRA & Rs. 20000/- p.m. + 30% HRA (for Medical)

Essential qualification:
M.Sc.(life Sciences)with two years research experience.
Or
MBBS/M.Pharm/M.V.Sc

Desirable: Two years’ experience in the field of Clinical trials will be preferred.

Age Limit: 35 years

Duration: 10 months

* Mere fulfilling the essential qualification/experience does not guarantee for selection.
* Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
* No TA/DA will be paid either for attending the interview or joining the post.
* Persons already in regular time scale service under any Government Department / Organizations are not eligible to apply.
