National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health (NIRRH), formerly known as Institute for Research in Reproduction is a premier research institute of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). It is situated in the vicinity of a number of hospitals and research institutes in central Mumbai. Since its inception in 1970, it has been making vigorous efforts to improve the reproductive health of people through research, education and health care services.
Applications are invited through Walk-in-Interview on 22-04-2013 between 09:00 hrs. and 12:00 hrs. for the following vacancy under Non-Institutional ad-hoc project.
Title of Project: "Preclinical studies using human ES cells derived islet Progenitors"
Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - 1
Consolidated Salary: Rs. 16000/- + Rs. 4800/- HRA
Essential Qualification:
M.Sc. degree holders in Life Sciences who have qualified in the CSIR/UGC National Entrance test (NET) or equivalent examination and have a valid certificate.
Desirable:
Candidates with knowledge of cell culture, stem cell biology and molecular biology. Knowledge of computer and data analysis. The candidate is expected to carry out experimental work related to cell culture and molecular biology. Work will also involve handling of laboratory animals.
Age Limit: 28 Yrs
Duration: Upto 14-09-2015

- Qualification/degree should be from a reputed Institution/University.
- Mere fulfilling the essential qualification/experience does not guarantee for selection.

- Persons already in regular time scale service under any Government Department / Organizations are not eligible
