Post: ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST (SYNTHETIC CHEMIST)
Job Description:
Hilleman Labs seeks experienced chemist/biochemist with at least 2-3 years in organic synthesis. Professionals with experience in carbohydrates synthesis and glycosylation are preferred. S/he will be responsible for designing and carrying out moisture sensitive organic reactions. Ideal candidates should have hands on experience in purification by column chromatography. Knowledge of characterization of organic molecules using NMR, IR and Mass spectroscopy is desired.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION: KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Ideal Experience
This individual should have 2-3 years of relevant organic synthesis experience, with at least 4 years of total experience biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry.
A distinguished academic background, demonstrated by a PhD/MS/MSc degree in organic chemistry
A successful track record of having delivered on deployed projects.
