Novo nordisk's data management department was established in Bangalore, India in the month of September 2007 and has significantly grown from 10 members to a strong team of over 140 Clinical Data Management professionals. It has witnessed significant transformations right from providing DM services to IO region reporting to IOCDC to becoming an integral part of Global development from Aug 2010. It is a young, enthusiastic and dynamic team with varied skillsets and professionals from diverse backgrounds such as pharmacy, life-sciences, physiotherapy, computer / information sciences and business administration.

Job summary:
Deliver timely accurate and credible scientific medical guidance across medical affairs focus areas to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • anagement: Cross-functional collaboration
  • Clinical activities:Support development of slide decks on NN supported ISS studies
  • Support development of scientific recruitment and retention materials
  • KOL Engagement: Support medical affairs teams in executing global meetings and support speakers (scientific expert meetings, symposia, etc.)
  • Publication Planning: Support development of posters 
  • Scientific and medical education:Support medical affairs teams in the development of  external communication materials e.f presentations, brochures, illustrations etcSupport medical affairs teams in executing medical education activities  and support speakers (scientific expert meetings, symposia, etc.)
  •  Internal Medical guidance
  • Support medical affairs teams in the development of  external communication materials e.f presentations, brochures, illustrations etc Support medical affairs teams in executing medical guidance activities   (science week, GMAM etc.)

 

Candidate Profile :
MD / Ph.D. with substantial clinical and/or research expertise relevant area (e.g. Endocrinology, General Practice or Internal Medicine)
Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
Fluency in both spoken and written English
Demonstrated research experience (e.g. publications)
Extra:
Additional education and experience in medical communication
Study or work in a country other than the native country
Additional education/scientific degree in research (e.g. PhD)
Experience:
Experience with clinical medicine, clinical research and development.
At least two years of clinical and/or pharmaceutical industry experience.
