Under the project entitled “Evaluation of in-vivo Anti-Herpes activity of HM-7, an ethnomedicinal alkaloid to develop a topical anti-viral formulation” at ICMR - NITM, Belagavi.
SRF : ONE POST
Essential Qualifications:.M.Sc. in Life Science / Biological Science with 2 years research experience and NET qualified, or M.Pharm/MBBS/MD.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in handling animals and developing formulations will be an added advantage and supported by relevant publications (at least one) in Peer-reviewed ISI listed Journals of repute.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates will be as per Govt. of India norms.
Emoluments: Rs. 28,000/- pm + 20% HRA (fixed)
Under CCRAH projects at ICMR - NITM, Belagavi.
PROJECT FELLOW / RESEARCH ASSISTANT: TWO POSTS
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. first class in Life Science from recognised university with knowledge in computer applications and research orientation.
Desirable Qualification: Research experience backed by publications in Peer-reviewed ISI (Institute of Scientific Information) Journals.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates will be as per Govt. of India norms.
Emoluments: As per the rule of the funding agency (based on project)

Application and selection procedure:
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are requested to fill their application form downloadable from ICMR-NITM website http://www.rmrcbg.res.in with his/her own handwriting and carry the same along with all original documents and a set of copies in support of age, qualification, experience, and category (if applicable) during the interview. Applications will be received between 8:30 A.M and 9.30 AM by hand on 10.04.2017 at ICMR – National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Nehru Nagar, Belagavi. The candidates are also required to submit a soft copy of the filled in application to director.nitm.bg@gmail.com by 07.04.2017 as prior information of attending test/interview.
Candidates must report to the Centre on 10.04.2017 by 8.30 AM with all original documents in support of age, qualification, experience and category along with a set of selfattested photocopies and two recent passport size photographs.
Written test/Interview will be conducted for the above said posts from 9.30 A.M onwards.
Terms & Conditions:
1. The posts are to be filled up only on purely temporary basis.
2. Above said posts will be stationed at ICMR – NITM, Belagavi
3. Since the posts are purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under ICMR/ DHR or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
4. Benefits of HRA, provident fund, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. are not applicable.
5. Age relaxation is for SC, ST, OBC and PH candidates will be as per guidelines of competent authority. Age relaxation may be considered for deserving and highly qualified /experienced person on the recommendation of selection committee.
6. No TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the Interview or joining of post and candidate should make his / her own arrangement for stay for written test / interview and joining of post, if offered.
7. Qualification and experience should be from a reputed and recognized organization.
8. The decision of Director is final in all aspects of recruitment and will be a binding upon.
9. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification. Prior information of attending of tests/interview is required by e-mail upto 07.04.2017. No candidate shall be entertained after 9.30 A.M on the test day.
