Position Overview
- Identify and communicate major market and competitive environment trends and how they will impact the customer, market and brand (e.g. competitor analyses)
- Understands, identifies and communicates key drivers of brand performance
- Ensures effective execution of activities and maintains a tracker. Analyses an impact of activity on the brand
- Is able to implement multiple activities at the same time
- Participates in the development of the stakeholder strategy (e.g. Decision Process, Opportunity Map, Customer Portraits, Attitudes / Beliefs, Economic Flow), leveraging the support of Line Report, Business Analysis and other functions)
- Develops short- / mid-term objectives considering the long-term vision and opportunities
- Provides input to the Brand Planning process.
- Works closely with other members of the brand team and other functions to share ideas and work towards a common goal
- Undertakes fieldwork to capture insights. Monitors competitor activities.
Principle Accountabilities-
- Responsible to achieve top-line, market share and bottom-line targets for the brands assigned.
- Analysis, forecasting & market share for the respective brand. Independently handle brand management.
- Conduct research to analyze customer behaviour and design strategies accordingly.
- Prepare all annual plans and budget planning activities for brands assigned. Monitor brand wise budget vis-à-vis actual expenditure.
- Develop market entry strategy for previously untapped geographies based on market intelligence, and validate the same with Marketing Head.
- Effectively sell the strategies to internal customers and ensure effective implementation of designed strategies.Ensure quality and timely delivery of inputs to field force.
