Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, Regional Office, Patna invites application from qualified Retired Pharmacists for the following post on contractual basis, for the purpose of providing Health Service facilities to its registered Insured Person (IPs) and their dependents through different ESIS Dispensaries located at various places of Bihar.

Max. Age (as on 01.04.2017) in years : Max. Age 65
Eligibility :
Essential Qualification:-
1. D. Pharma/ B. Pharma from any recognized university.
2. Should be registered from Bihar State Pharmacy Registration Council (BSPRC)
Essential Experience:
1. Preference will be given to retired ESIS/ESIC/Govt. Servant.
2. 1 Year post qualification working experience as a Pharmacist in Health Care Institution/ Pharmacy.
Consolidated salary (PM in Rs.) : 17,500
Location Any of the ESIS Dispensary situated in following places:- Patna, Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur, Kahalgaon, Munger, Hajipur, Biharsharif, Gaya, Mokama, Katihar, Samastipur, Bihta, Banjari, Hathidah, Patna City or for different locations of Bihar where ESI Dispensaries would be set up..
Duration of Contract
The recruitment will initially be for a period of eleven months which shall be extendable subject to the following conditions:-
a. Satisfactory performance b. Continued requirement of the position and availability of funds.
c. Approval of the position by ESIC/ESIS

Other Information/ Requirements/ Conditions
Purpose of Assignment :
To Provide & dispense medicines as per prescription to all patients and to assist Medical Officer in various activities in ESIS Dispensaries in different districts of Bihar.
Summary of Roles and Responsibilities
1. Dispense medicine to the patient attending ESIS Dispensaries in State.
2. Maintain proper record of expenditure of Medicines & materials
3. Analyse data & compile report.
4. Any other job assigned by concerned officers.
Desirable skills:
1. Ability to work in a team
2. Excellent interpersonal skills and able to make effective collaboration with the community.
3. Self-motivated and able to motivate others.
Selection/ Agreement:
1. A Panel of selected Pharmacist could be prepared District/ Location wise
2. First preference would be given to retired Pharmacist from Govt. Public Organisation.
3. Selected candidate will have to sign contractual agreement with ESIC before joining the post.

General Condition:
1. The recruitment will be on contract basis for a period of Eleven Months, which may be renewed for similar tenure for a period up to 3 years based on the performance & conduct of the contractual staff as per the contract policy of ESI subject to age limit. After 3 years, this contract may be extended further based on performance & age limit. The maximum period of contract with ESIC would exist only till the continuance of this scheme/ recruitment of Regular Doctors. No request of regularization, readjustment and re-employment would be entertained in lieu of the said contract.
2. Non-refundable Application fee is Rs. 100/- for applicants under General/ Category, No fee for BC/ EBC/ SC/ ST candidates. Application fee is to be submitted in the form of Bank Draft only.
