Pay scale : Pay Band -2, Rs.5200-20,000+Grade Pay Rs.2800 (revised as per 7* CPC Pay matrix level - 5 with Rs. 29,200/-plus allowances as per Central Govt.Rules) Whether selection post or non-selection : Selection by written test.
Period of Probation : 2 Years
Age limit for direct recruits :18 to 25 years (Relax able for Central Government servants upto 35 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.)
Note:
1. Crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India and not the closing date prescribed for these in Assam,Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur,, Nagaland, Tripura,Sikkim ,Ladakh, Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahauland Spiti district and Pangi Sub- Division on champ district of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Isalands or Lakashadeweep.
2. In case of recruitment is made through Employment Exchanges , crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the last date up to which the Employment Exchanges are asked to submit the names.
Essential Educational qualification : - A Degree in Pharmacy / Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Biochemistry / Microbiology /Biology of a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable: More than 1 year experience in testing of drugs.
