The School of Pharmacy of the faculty is approved by the AICTE and committed to produce high quality pharmacist's workforce tailor-made to suit the requirements of the industry and community. We aim to develop latest skills among students by imparting current knowledge about research-centered clinical pharmacy and medicine management.
In addition to teaching and research, our faculty members are also involved in professional activities such as consultative services for pharmaceutical industry, clinical pharmacy practice, drug information services, and analysis of traditional remedies.

Following posts are to be filled up on purely temporary basis at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Shoolini University in the project “Quality Standards of Indian Medicinal Plants and preparation of monographs thereon.”Walk in Interviews on July 14, 2016 at 10.30 am.

Name of the Post: Senior Research Fellows and Project Assistant]

Senior Research Fellow (Two positions)
Qualification: M. Pharmacy with minimum 60% marks or Equivalent grade or M.Sc. (Botany/Chemistry) from a recognized university with 2 years’ research experience in handling work relating to natural products/medicinal plants. GATE/GPAT/CSIR-NET or equivalent examination qualified candidates will be preferred.
Desirable:(i)Experience in plant taxonomy, pharmacognostic characterization, phytochemical studies, standardization of medicinal plants, preparation of monographs, literature search, retrieval, scientific writing, dissemination of information relating to medicinal plants
(ii) Diploma/Degree in computer applications
Age Below: 35 years
Salary: Rs. 28,000 pm (fixed)+HRA
Duration: Three years or termination of the project whichever is earlier.
Job Requirement :Literature search, retrieval and dissemination of information relating to medicinal plants/products, employing digital and traditional sources,compilation of information, preparation of reviews/monographs, plant taxonomy, pharmacognostic characterization, phytochemical studies, standardization of medicinal plants, Chromatography, handling of HPTLC, GLC, HPLC etc.


Research Attendant (One position)
Qualification: B. Pharmacy with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade / B. Sc. with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade and 2 years of relevant experience/ M.Sc. (Botany/Chemistry/Medicinal Plants) from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade
Desirable: (i) Experience in basic lab techniques, plant collection, etc.
(ii) Diploma/Degree in computer applications
Age Below: 35 years
Salary: Rs. 14910/- pm (fixed)
Duration: Three years or termination of the project whichever is earlier.
Job Requirement : Assistance in lab work, collection of plant material, other project related work.

General Information / Details about the Post
1. Appointment is purely temporary and will be co-terminus with project without any notice or compensation on termination of the research project. 2. The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment / absorption in Funding Agency or in the University.
3. Appointment of the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of the funding agency particularly applicable to the said project.
4. The qualification prescribed should have been obtained from recognized Universities / Institutions.
5. The prescribed educational qualifications are the bare minimum and mere possession of same does not entitled candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received in response to this advertisement is large, it will not be convenient or possible to interview all the candidates. Based on the recommendations of the Screening Committee, the Project Leader may restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview to a reasonable limit after taking into consideration qualifications and experience over and above the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. Therefore, it will be in the interest of the candidates, to mention all the qualifications and experience in the relevant field at the time of applying.
6. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview.
7. Selected candidates will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer.
8. No interim enquiries / correspondence / communication of any sort will be entertained on the matter.
9. Canvassing in any form and / or bringing any influence, political, or otherwise, will be treated as a disqualification for the post applied for.
