Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad, a constituent of CSIR is a leading research Institute in the area of chemical sciences. The core strength of IICT lies in Organic Chemistry, and it continues to excel in this field for over six decades. The research efforts during these years have resulted in the development of several innovative processes for a variety of products necessary for human welfare such as drugs, agrochemicals, food, organic intermediates, adhesives etc. More than 150 technologies developed by IICT are now in commercial production.

CSIR-IICT is conducting Walk-in-Interview for the following positions on a purely temporary basis for the sponsored projects at 10.00 A.M on 6th December 2013 at IICT Hyderabad:

Project Title: Screening of new chemicals…molecules
Essential Qualifications & Experience: First class in B.Pharmcy. Desireble: GPAT qualified with experience in handling cell cultures and microbe for screening

PA-II (1)
Project Title: Analysis and identification….medical recognition
Essential Qualifications & Experience: First Class in M.Sc (Life sciences / Biomedical Sciences). Desirable: 1 year experience in molecular biology techniques

PA-III (1)
Project Title: Conducting optimization ….fluoroacrylate emulsions
Essential Qualifications & Experience: First Class in M.Sc Chemistry with 2 yrs experience in polymer chemistry

JRF(P) (1)
Project Title: Combination of organocatalysts…meta catalysts/reagents
Essential Qualifications & Experience: First Class in M.Sc (Organic Chemistry) with NET qualification. Desirable: one year industrial / academic experience in organic synthesis

Stipend/Age
Project Assistant-II
Rs.12,000/-(except for S.No.1 for which stipend will be paid @ Rs.8,000 only)
Age: 28yrs

Project Assistant-III: Rs.14,000/-
Age: 32yrs

JRF (Project): Rs.14,000/-
Age: 32yrs

Experience is preferred for all the above positions.
* Upper age limit relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/PH/WOMEN and 3 years for OBC

The Selection will be on the basis of Interview. The engagement will be initially for a period of six months/one year, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the tenure of sponsored project/satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee, as the case may be. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis for the sponsored project and does not entitle him/her for the CSIR/IICT post/fellowship.

Eligible candidates may download the application form from our website iictindia.org and appear for Interview along with the duly filled in application form supported by Bio-data and one set of attested photo copies of Certificates of educational qualification, age, experience, caste (in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates), latest passport size photograph and the candidates are required to bring all the original certificates for verification.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Note: Registration of candidates will commence from 09.00 A.M to 10.00 A.M. on the above dates.
