Job description

Accomplished in vivo pharmacologist/immunologist who will make substantial contributions to the conception and execution of multi-disciplinary drug discovery research projects in inflammation and immune-mediated diseases within a highly collaborative environment.
A primary responsibility of the successful candidate will be to establish in vivo inflammation models, build mechanistic understanding of inflammation/immune diseases, and build PK/PD relationships and in vivo biomarker information for NCEs.
The candidate provides scientific leadership and expertise to a small group of direct reports on multiple projects.
The successful candidate will be expected to present own data in oral and written forms, internally and externally, demonstrating strong communication skills.
The candidate must be willing to work as part of a multidisciplinary research team in an exciting, fast-paced drug discovery environment under the mentorship of a supervisor.

Candidate Profile:
Experience of working with animal models of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases in a drug discovery setting required. Strong conceptual expertise in immunology and inflammatory diseases is highly desired. The candidate must keep updated with cutting-edge in vivo models that can be applied to concept discovery and drug candidate characterization. Highly developed communication skills and keen ability to engage internal and external team members in collaborative research.

Education Requirements
Ph.D in Pharmacology, Immunology, or a related field with 2-5 years of experience required to ensure that incumbent has necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to do the job.
