B.Sc. in Medical Radiation Technology (3 years course) or equivalent from a recognized University or Institute approved by AERB with 2 years’ experience in operating Radio Diagnosis / Radiotherapy equipments in an established centre.
OR
Diploma in Radiology (two years Course) or equivalent from a recognized Institutionwith 3 years' experience in operating Radio diagnostic / Radiotherapy equipments in an established centre.

1) The fee should be paid in the form of Demand Draft in favour of „Accounts Officer, JIPMER, payable at Pondicherry (State Bank of India – JIPMER Branch). The amount of fee will not be accepted in any other form other than Demand Draft. Fees once paid will NOT be refunded under any circumstances nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

In case they qualify to be considered to the post applied by them, after the selection process conducted by this Institute, the applicant shall have to undergo a medical test before the Medical Board to be constituted by this Institute. In case they fail in the medical test or the Medical Board gives its opinion that the disability is less that 40%, then they will not be offered the post and they will lose their claim for that post.

II. HOW TO APPLY?
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria of age, educational qualifications and experience, as mentioned above, may apply in the prescribed format appended(Annexure)along with a Demand Draft (D.D) towards fees for the same to be drawn in favour of the Accounts Officer, JIPMER, payable at State Bank of India, JIPMER Branch, Puducherry (in original).
1. If the candidate is employed in a State/Central Government/ Union Territory/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous body he/she has to invariably submit the “No Objection Certificate? from the present employer along with the application. A candidate claiming to belong to the category of Central Government servant and thus seeking age relaxation would be required to produce a Certificate from his/her Employer on his/her Official Letter Head to the effect that he/she is a regular Central Government Servant and not a casual/ad-hoc/daily wages/hourly paid/contract basis employee.
2. Recent Passport Size Photograph affixed in application and attested by a Gazetted Officer.
Note:
a. Candidates belonging to reserved category such as OBC, SC and ST, whose age is within the age limit prescribed for the General/UR category, and who score high marks in the selection process and rank sufficiently high in the merit list within the cut-off marks to be fixed for General/UR category, they will be considered against the UR vacancies on their own merit.
b. The vacancies notified for OBC, SC, ST categories will be filled up either from the OBC, SC, ST candidates whose age is above the prescribed age limit for General/UR category and who score sufficiently high marks above the cut-off marks to be fixed for these categories or from those candidates who, even in the event of within the age limit prescribed for General/UR category, score marks below the cut-off marks to be fixed for General/UR category only and within the cut-off marks to be fixed for their respective category.
c. In the case of reserved candidates belonging to ‘b’ above those candidates who rank high in their respective category will only be called for verification of their certificates to finalise their eligibility for issuing the offers of appointment.
INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES:
1. The cover containing the Application should be superscribed as “Application for the Post of ________________ (Sl.No. :________)” and the same should be addressed to the Director, JIPMER, Administrative Block, Puducherry-605006.
2. Application as stated above should be submitted in the prescribed Proforma in the Annexure neatly typed on A4 size paper.
3. Candidates shall not send any copies of their certificates along with their applications. They will be permitted to appear for the test/interview based on the information provided in their application. CERTIFICATES IN ORIGINAL AND COPIES THEREOF REGARDING AGE, EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, IF ANY, REQUIRED IN THE RECRUITMENT RULES, CASTE, COMMUNITY AND SUCH OTHER CERTIFICATES, AS REQUIRED UNDER THE RULES IN FORCE, WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE PRODUCED FOR VERIFICATION BY ONLY THOSE APPLICANTS WHO ARE PROVISIONALLY SELECTED FOR APPOINTMENT BASED ON THEIR PERFORMANCE IN THE WRITTEN TEST/INTERVIEW.
4. The onus of proving their eligibility by submitting all the required certificates/documents, lie with the candidates. IF ON VERIFICATION ANY INFORMATION/CERTIFICATE PROVIDED BY THE CANDIDATE PROVES TO BE WRONG THE RESULTS OF THE WRITTEN TEST/INTERVIEW OF SUCH CANDIDATES WILL BE TREATED AS NULL AND VOID AND THEY WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO HAVE ANY CLAIM FOR ISSUE OF OFFER OF APPOINTMENT BY THIS INSTITUTE.
5. THE CALL MEMO FOR WRITTEN TEST/INTERVIEW WILL BE PURELY PROVISIONAL AND BASED ON THE INFORMATION PROVIDED IN THE APPLICATION AND THE SAME HAVING BEEN DECLARED TO BE CORRECT BY THE APPLICANT.
6. THE SELECTION FOR THE WRITTEN TEST IS ONLY PROVISIONAL AND DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANY APPOINTMENT TO ANY POSTS IN THE INSTITUTE. FAILURE TO PRODUCE THE REQUIRED CERTIFICATES WILL MAKE SUCH APPLICANTS INELIGIBLE FOR APPOINTMENT TO THE SELECTED POST.
7. INCOMPLETEAPPLICATIONS, UNSIGNED APPLICATIONS,APPLICATIONS RECEIVED WITHOUT DEMAND DRAFT OF THE REQUIRED AMOUNT AND APPLICATION RECEIVED AFTER THE DUE DATE MENTIONED ABOVE WILL BE SUMMARILY REJECTEDWITHOUT ANY INTTIMATION.
8. For candidates working in Central/State Government/Union Territories/Public Sector undertaking / Autonomous bodies, their application should be routed through proper channel with the Vigilance Clearance Certificate and "No Objection Certificate? from the present Employer.
9. This Institute will not be responsible for any postal or other delays in receiving the application.
10. Call Memos will be sent only to the Eligible candidates. No intimation will be sent regarding late or ineligible applications.
11. THE CANDIDATES ARE ADVISED NOT TO BRING ANY POLITICAL OR OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS TO INFLUENCE THEIR SELECTION. SUCH CANDIDATES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THE SELECTION PROCESS.
