Job Description
• Checking and identifying correct actives and excipients to overcome incompatibility
• Weighing/ dispensing of actives and excipients for making solid dosage forms
• Blending/ mixing of actives and excipients for making solid dosage forms
• Making the formulations by sophisticated instruments
• Film coating of Tablets, Capsule filling, Packaging of the dosage forms
• Check for Material Safety Data Sheets for all incoming materials before dispensing
• Formulation of Pharmaceuticals of Novel drug delivery systems
• Evaluation and modify existing processes as part of continuous improvement
• Equipment qualification, participates on technical team to justify, specifies and starts up new processes.
• Development of Controlled Release Dosage forms
• Development of Batch Manufacturing records for processing of pharmaceuticals
• Assisting in analytical development work for pharmaceuticals
• Maintain and follow cGMP practices.

Technical Skills Required

Experience working in a Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, diagnostics and/ or medical device company.
Education requirements: Ph.D or MS Degree in related fields or Bachelor in Science with experience.
Knowledge of utilities, equipment, methods and instrument calibration.
Knowledge of GMP’s quality systems, and other FDA regulatory guidelines for drugs and biologics.
Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing operations.
Knowledge of applicable software for Windows, i.e. Microsoft Word for Windows, Access, Excel for Windows etc.
Ability to follow directions and work with minimal direction as a team member.
Ability to direct others regarding work priorities and assist in ensuring their completion.
Ability to organize and manage large quantities of documentation.
Detail oriented, good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to generate reports demonstrating a good command of grammar and punctuation.
Ability to analyze data for accuracy and correctly interpret results. Draw conclusions from data to generate a sound “scientific” report.
Ability to create necessary Spreadsheets, databases, etc. for capture of pertinent data and presentation of data supporting company operations and submissions.
Continually stay abreast of changing regulatory requirements / standards and industry practices.

Candidate Profile
2 to 3 years Experience working in a Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, diagnostics and/ or medical device company.
